The Sniper project we wrote about in a previous post back in December has popped up in the news with an update to the project.  The Twin-Turbo Viper V-10 powered SN95 Mustang is alive and kicking with some new video proof and photos.  The video below shows the twin-turbo V-10 powered Mustang starting up and idling.  I know it's like watching paint dry but it's an update to one insane project.  There is also a new set of photos below with the wheels and painted engine.  The Sniper project looks to be in the final tuning stages and we cannot wait till it's streetable.

With the launch of the 2010 Steeda Q-Series Mustang coming soon Steeda Autosports has decicied to wet your pallets a bit by introducing the 2010 Steeda Sport Edition Ford Mustang.  Fans not wanting to wait for the Q-series have been treated to a new special edition from Steeda.  The Steeda Sport Edition uses a 2010 Mustang GT as it's base while featuring a host of cosmetic and performance parts including a Steeda hood paint treatment, sidewinder stripes, underdrive performance pulleys, air cleaner, sport springs, billet lower control arms, 20-inch Sypder wheels (chrome) wrapped in Nitto NT05 tires and a Steeda Sport Shifter.

It looks like Ford Mustang sales have hit a little speed bump on the road to recovery as month to month sales have decreased by double-digit figures.  The past few months sales have been increasing steadily giving us hope Mustang sales were headed in the right direction but as you will see below the figures tell the tail.  Are we starting to see the impact of what the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro and the 2009 Dodge Challenger will have on the Mustang, probably so.

Sales of Ford Mustangs for June of 2009 were 7,632 compared to 10,893 from June of 2008 showing a 29.9% decrease in sales from the previous year. Year to date Mustang sales are 33,788...
