Ford Shelby GT-H Police Chase Commercial

Ford Shelby GT-H Police Chase Commercial

December 31st, 1969 A commercial from Ford on the Shelby GT-H has surfaced and with it brings a little confusion about the contents. What is wierd about the commercial is that it has the Shelby GT-H featured in it but at the end of the video it gives you a pitch for the Shelby GT. I know they are pretty much the same car but why not feature a Shelby GT instead of the Shelby GT-H. Maybe this is why it has not seen the light of day on TV yet. If anybody has any insight into this commercial let me know in the comments.

  1. Heh, now this is what I call good quality commercials ! Good idea !

  2. My responce as to why the GT-H is in the commercial vs as to why Ford is mentioning the GT is their are only a limited number available very few of the GT-H available to the public right now only 113.
But they want to get the publics attention using the Hertz version casue it is so attactive but be selling the new GT. KInd of like the 'ol bait and switch routine.
Much of the difference is the paint scheme with the Hertz version which can be important.
But Ford is grabbing our attention with the newest pony in their stable. It's all good right.
Just go get one while they last.

  3. Nitpickers!

  4. I want to know if anyone knows where i can download this video aswell as the autobahn on to my computer?
    Thanks Alot

  5. 1- The FOP [Ferternal Order of Police] should not be endorcing any other agency advertising other than Public Safety. First reason why this hasn't come about. Legal
2- The is concern for the content of the video. Our Police Officers misuse of our public roads. Consider the light inwhich they are being stereotyped within this message.
