Sales figures are in for March and it's another month of declining sales for the Ford Mustang. Sales of Mustangs for March of this year were 14,737 compared to 16,117 from March of the previous year showing a 8.6% decline. Year to date sales for 2007 are 34,573 compared to 40,692 for the three months of last year, a 15% decline. With the incentives Ford threw at customers for March sales did not improve like they hoped.

Yet, I can't GIVE Ford my $42,920 and order a 2007 Shelby GT500! Or a 2008 GT500. Or a 2008 Boss 302. Sorry, I won't be helping to push up the V6 Mustang sales numbers, but I will give my $42K dollars to GM if they will sell me a Camaro coupe or convertible at MSRP! I BLEED Ford blue, but I don't pay 15-20 thousand over sticker for ANYTHING. I hate to march with the General, but the first Shelby, Camaro, or Challenger available at MSRP will get my pile of cash...Ole Henry Ford is rolling over in his grave today I tell you.
