It never hurts to branch out and Shelby Automobiles is doing just that with a new performance parts business formed with Scott Drake Enterprises, Inc, the world's largerst manufacturer of reproduction parts for classic Mustangs. The new parts business will be introduced at the 33rd Annual Mid-America Ford Performance and Shelby Meet which is going on right now in Tulsa, OK. The company dubbed Shelby Performance Parts, LLC will offer a full line of products for 2005 and newer Ford Mustangs, Shelby GT's and Shelby GT500's.
“Genuine Shelby parts will pump up the capabilities of any contemporary Ford or Shelby Mustang,” said Amy Boylan, Shelby Performance Parts Co-Founder. “The aggressive suspension and engine packages are taken from lessons learned during development of Ford Shelby cars. Working with Scott Drake Enterprises, we developed components and packages that will power these cars to the front of the pack.”
Parts packages from the newly formed company will be made available for both V6 and GT Mustang models with individual components like upgraded brakes, supercharger packages, suspension components and styling enhancements like hoods and front fascias. Other parts that will be sold are part of the Shelby GT500 "Super Snake" package. The red with black stripes prototype "Super Snake" will be on hand at Mid-America event this weekend for all to see.

I recently purchased a cap set for my son's Shelby. The radiator cap states on the inside that I need to use a special silicone high heat resistance glue. I don't have a clue what that is or where to get it. I promise when i start calling around to places like Pep boys or Auto Zone, they won't have a clue either. What they will do is guess at it.
For $275.00 I don't wnat to guess.
Also there's no instructions on how to switch out the dip stick to the new Shelby one.
Please give me some detailed information on both. The seal on the dip stick fits so tight it's already done some damge to the seal. Obviouslt to tight on the tolerances.
Please get bcak to me ASAP, this is by son's Christmas present.
