Shelby GT500KR Gets 10 More Horsepower
I know this is not the ground breaking news you are looking for but what the heck some of you might get excited that the 2008 Shelby GT500KR will now have 550 horsepower over the previously stated 540 HP.
Just this past week Carroll Shelby visited Ford's proving grounds in Dearborn, Michigan where a few GT500KR prototypes were being driven and photographed. It was there that StangsUnleashed said Ford announced the 2008 Shelby GT500KR will get an extra 10 horsepower from the previously announced 540 horsepower. Good news all around but I am sure there are more horses just waiting to let out with a few inexpensive bolt-ons.
Photos of Carroll Shelby at Ford's proving grounds are below.
