Jay Leno Test Drives new Knight Rider car KITT
Jay Leno has to be one of the luckiest guys on the planet as he recently had the pleasure of test driving the Shelby GT500KR known as KITT. In the video Jay introduces us to the two KITT's that will be featured on the show along with KITT's designer Harald Belker and KITT's builder Ted Moser. One of the new KITT's is actually a remote control car driven by someone sitting at a station with a steering wheel and pedals unlike the original Trans-Am in the old show which was driven by a guy dressed up as a seat inside the car. After jay tinkers around moving the remote control KITT back and forth inside his shop he gets the keys to the other Shelby GT500KR KITT. Jay takes the car out and thrashes it up and down the streets with Val Kilmer's voice talking to him. For those that didn't know Val Kilmer was just announced as the new voice of KITT. It's a pretty sweet video if you have a few minutes. Watch the video here on NBC.
