December 31st, 1969 Not much was expected with the reporting of Februay Mustang sales as we could have already written this post a month ago. Mustang sales were down again from the previous year although there is an upside to things as sales from January to February actually increased 1207 units or 15.5%. This is definately some positive news that Ford can build on for this months sales. Sales of Mustangs for February of 2008 were 7,752 compared to 10,772 from February of 2007 showing a 28% drop in sales from the previous year. Year to date sales for 2008 Mustangs are 14,297 compared to 19,836 for the first two months of 2007, which is a 27.9% drop. I believe sales have declined due to the fact that peoples interest in peppy muscle cars has declined, in fact i believe that the general interest in gasoline dependent vehicles is in steep decline. I've been doing a little research and i found that a company called zap is now #1 in the production and sales in completely electric cars.

Who cares about the Zap car? They'll never build it or am I thinking about the Tesla?

Speaking of no gas bill, you'll be paying for electricity -- gee, how is electricity generated? I'd rather drive a Mustang, Challenger, or a Camaro any day.

I bought a Vapor Mist Mustang GT in February. So, one of those numbers in Feb is thanks to me.. lol..
Anyway, I'd rather ride a hot wheel, than drive an electric car. This Mustang is Awesome! It's now Aug 5th, and I drive that car all day, every day. Nothing like American Muscle from Detroit!
