2009 Warriors In Pink Edition Mustang Unveiled at New York Auto Show

At this years New York International Auto Show Ford is unveiling the 2009 Warriors In Pink edition Mustang to help raise money for breast cancer education and research. For the 2009 model Ford is doubling it's contribution to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to $500 for each Warriors In Pink Mustang sold. The 2009 Warriors In Pink package will be available on the Mustang V-6 Premium Coupe and Convertible models. The WIP package includes a unique grille and will add a pink ribbon and pony fender badge, pink Mustang rocker tape striping, charcoal leather seats with pink stitching, aluminum-spoke steering wheel with pink stitching and charcoal floormats with pink ribbon and contrast stitching. As a 12 year breast cancer survivor, I love the WIP Mustang concept...However, why doesn't Ford offer it in a V-8???? Girls like to go fast, too!!! What happened to my horse and fog lights in the grill of the '09? I think a Pink grill horse would have really looked good. I would order one today if it came in a V-8. I hate the thought of it being slower than my '03 Mach I.

I'm with Ginny! This car is real pretty. I really do like it; however, almost to girly! Being a mustang it really should look/feel a little more muscular along with the pretty of this new model. That's the appeal of the mustang! Definately fog lights & maybe a better spoiler would be an improvement along with V-8 option! And, whoever heard of a mustang without the emblem? With few things added would definately love to own this vehicle!
