December 31st, 1969 We all know car sales for most models are down across the board due to the increase in gas prices and Mustang sales are no exception but they did show an increase of 1260 units from May-June. This increase put Mustang sales back into the 5 figure range where hopefully they will stay for awhile. Sales of Mustangs for June of 2008 were 10,893 compared to 12,781 from June of 2007 showing a 14.8% drop in sales from the previous year. Year to date sales for 2008 are 55,053 compared to 77,341 for the first six months of 2007, which is a 28.8% drop.
