Shelby Autos to Sponsor NASCAR Race & Produce 427 Package for GT500 Super Snake

Shelby Automobiles is branching out in more ways than one with a NASCAR race sponsorship and a new 427 package for the Shelby GT500 Super Snake. The NASCAR Spring cup event at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 1, 2009 will be sponsored by Shelby Autos. The race will be lengthened to 427 miles and will be called the "Shelby 427".
Shelby Autos will also partner with the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to market a limited edition Shelby 427 package for the Shelby GT500 Super Snake Mustang. Current owners of 2007 and 2008 Shelby GT500's with the Super Snake package can purchase the limited edition "pace car" upgrade on a first-come, first-served basis. The package upgrade will include Mr. Shelby's personal autograph along with many other event-related add-ons. Only 427 of these packages will be availalbe through Shelby Automobiles. Other perks of buying the package include special race tickets and other amenities including having the opportunity to serve as the race's honorary starter.
