I would have really liked to have seen more horse power. In a perfect world Ford would have installed their 5.0-Liter with 390-400 HP. To only give a modest 15 HP bump from the current Mustang GT in the face of the Dodge Challenger R/T at 375 HP and the new Chevy Camaro SS at 400 it would appear that history has once again repeated itself and Ford has allowed the Mustang to once again be outgunned by the Chevy Camaro and now the new Dodge Challenger R/T.
The 5.0-Liter engine not withstanding, I would like to think that they could have squeezed out a little more than 15 HP from the current 4.6-Liter engine. That being said, for the most part I like the new 2010 Mustang but the rear end is going to have to grow on me some.

Yes, but the Challenger does not have a convertible! If I was buying a COUPE, I'd opt for the Challenger - but I prefer a 'Vert. Never cared for Camaros. The mental picture of rusted out Camaros from 1969 (in 1972) is still vivid in my mind. I will get a fully (over)Loaded, ordered, 2010 GT - Probably in triple Black.
Hey, a 65 year old needs fun, too!. Fast old Geezer!

Sure, more horsepower would be nice, but if as Robert says, then the challenger and camaro will be out of production long before the Mustang, as it was before. They are too retro for me, and the interiors of both cars leaves much to be desired.
