Photos & Video of 2010 Ford Mustang Reveal on SPEED Channel

December 31st, 1969   Live on the SPEED channel the 2010 Mustang made it's official debut to the over 1,000 Mustang Club of America members, media and special guests who were on hand.  Jim Farley, group vice president for Ford Marketing and Communications kicked off the show with a little history of the Ford Mustang.  Farley also introduced the winners of the 2010 mustang stories contest, Kory Chesher and Jonathan Newman along with playing his winning video titled "Father's Day".  The next part of the show includes several legends of the Mustang community including the cars they drove which were display on stage.  Those included Bob Tasca, III, Parnelli Jones, Ashley and John Force, Bill Glidden, Dorsey Schroeder, Jack Roush, Tommy Kendall and ,Danny Thompson, Scott Pruett, Lyn St. James, Joe DaSilva, Andrew Caddell, Rick Titus and Carroll Shelby. Following those Mustang legends were five 2010 Mustangs being driven into the arena.  The final Mustang to enter was a 2010 Mustang drift car driven by Vaughn Gittin Jr with Mark Fields, President of the Americas riding shotgun.  Mark fields does a little song and dance and turns over the presentation to Doug Gaffka, Chief Designer of the 2010 Ford Mustang to give a little insight into what the new Mustang has to offer.  Then Paul Randle, Chief Engineer takes over the show to talk about the power, performance and handling of the new 2010 Mustang. At the end of the presentaion Mark Fields reveals in January at the North American International Auto show (NAIAS) Ford will have yet another surprise for the next chapter of the Ford Mustang.  What will the surprise be, my guess we will see the 2010 Shelby GT500. Check out a few photos below... 2010 Mustang FIRST Reveal!!

  1. I think the 2010 Mustang looks pretty nice overall. I don't care for the tail lights and rear fascia, just doesn't work for me. I do like the front treatment though. Other than that, it seems that they stayed pretty true the the classic look of the 2005-2009 which is a good thing.
