In my last post on Mustang sales figures I expected December sales to be even lower than November's with the declining economy and across the board auto sales declines. Well, it looks like the bleeding has stopped for now as month to month Mustang sales have risen 360 units or 9.8%. Although this looks good on paper Mustang sales still have a long way to go to get back to respectable levels. Will the 2010 Mustang be able to bring Mustang sales out of the funk, only time will tell.
Sales of Mustangs for December of 2008 were 4,027 compared to 8,315 from December of 2007 showing a 51.6% decrease in sales from the previous year. 2008 Mustang sales are 91,251 compared to 134,626 for 2007, which is a 32.2% drop.
If you are curious what the previous month sales were than check out January , February , March , April , May , June, July, August , September , October and November sales figures.
