Will Ford Reveal the 2010 Shelby GT500 at the Detroit Auto Show? Take our Poll
During the 2010 Mustang reveal in Santa Monica Mark Fields, President of the Americas said Ford "will reveal yet another Chapter in the Mustang story" at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show in January. Those simple words have ignited discussions throughout many Mustang forums as to what Ford has hiding in the closet. I was at the Charlotte International Auto Show last weekend, and the Ford spokeman there told me that Ford will be unveiling the 2010 GT500 at Detroit. Maybe they're bringing something else as well, but I'm positive that the Shelby will be there.

Sounds like its the most logical but something about how Mark Fields said it just makes alot of people feel it will be another Mustang variant. You are probably right, it will be the next gen Shelby GT500.
