Ebay: SN65 Mustang Up For Auction

With so much time and money going into the SN65 build project, it's unimaginable somebody would want to auction a car like this off, but like my father allways says everything has it's price and the SN65 is no exception. The SN65 project was a one-of-a-kind build mating a 1965 Mustang body shell to that of a 2003 Cobra Chassis/Engine and was chronicled over several months via sn65.com.

I caught this auction late and as of writing the high bid is $100k with 7 or so hours left and the reserve has not been met. It is probably safe to say the car will be relisted unless it gets some sniper bids late in the day.

    I Hate F@#%ing Gravel Trucks

It finally happend, my Cobra got it's cherry popped the other day in a big way with two rock chips out of the hood and windshield. I am surprised my Cobra has gone this long without any chips or dents to speak off. The car has been in my possession for almost two years with about 10K on the clock and only a repaint for the bumper because some ass clown parked on my bumper with his 4x4, other than that nothing, nada, no door dings or scratches not even any black tar spots.

The car has been in my possession for almost two years with about 10K on the clock and only a repaint for the bumper because some ass clown parked on my bumper with his 4x4, other than that nothing, nada, no door dings or scratches not even any black tar spots. It happend as I was driving down the highway to my soccer game the other day. I entered the highway and a gravel truck speeds by which I knew was trouble already because I could see small pieces of gravel and dust floating off the truck, so I pulled as far away from him as possible and tried to speed past him and as I did this 2-3" rock drops off the truck and it seems like time stood still because I could see the rock in slow motion bouncing along the highway getting closer and closer to my car. I could not do anything about it because the rock was in my lane and I was trapped like rat with nowhere to go. The first words out of my mouth were Oh F#$%! followed but some more choice words and then BANG! BANG! As I lifted my head, yes I ducked like a girl because for some reason I thought a 2-3" rock could blast through the windshield and hit me, it could happen and you know you have done the same thing before. Anyway to make a long story short the car ended up with a quarter inch chip to the hood and 3 tiny chips out of the windshield (no cracks just chips). I guess I was lucky it did not rattle around the inside of car since I did have the top down. For a larger pic of the chip click here. Read More

1996 Mustang With Fish Aquarium Mod

Looking for extra horsepower then you might want to try this Mod on for size. Try adding a fish aquarium into your center console for that extra couple of tenths at the track. Well that is what Jose Cisneros did to his 1996 Ford Mustang coupe. Jose has added an aquarium, TV in the steering wheel, custom racing seats and a ton of fiberglass work to the car to make it stand out from the crowd. The aquarium filled with goldfish sits snug inside a custom center console Jose made personally for his ride. Despite all the work Jose has put into the car it still serves as his daily driver. Black FR500 Wheels For My Cobra

I am sure some of you know what I drive but for those who don't I bought a 2003 SVT Cobra Convertible brand new back in December of 2004. The Cobra was sitting on a Ford dealers lot for almost a year and half before I swooped in and bought it. The car was on Ebay of all places and nobody bid on it so I sent an email to the dealer to inquire about the car. I recieved an email back almost within an hour telling me to make an offer. I made a low ball offer and they replied with when can you pick it up. So I flew up to St. Louis and drove it back to the Dallas. I have had the car for almost 18 months and have only put 8500 miles on it.

I have had the car for almost 18 months and have only put 8500 miles on it. For the past 5 months or so I have been sitting on some Black FR500 wheels and have finally saved up enough money to purchase some tires. If you can believe it the tires cost almost double what the wheels sold for. Didn't it use to be the other way around or have I been living in a time capsule? Well I chose some Nitto NT555 for both the front and back. For the front I got 285-35-18 and for the back I got 295-45-18. The tires on the back are probably a little to big because most every time I go over any sizeable bump or dip the tires rub. I think in the future I will purchase some smaller tires to fit better but for now I can live with a few wheel rubs. Read More
