2007 Ford Mustang Hits Dealers
June 22nd, 2006 by CobraMatt

The 2007 Ford Mustang GT and V6 Models including the California Special are starting to appear on dealer lots around the country this week. The 2007 Mustang is pretty much a carry over from 2006 model year with a few exceptions and a few new packages. New for 2007 are two new appearance packages for the GT and V6 models along wth two all-new colors. The Mustang will also feature an array of interior and equipment upgrades along with a Mustang first, a DVD-based navigation system available later in the model year. Of course we all know about the Shelby GT500 which should be hitting dealers very soon.
Below I have compiled a list of all the major changes and colors for the 2007 Mustang I could dig up. If I have missed anything please don’t hesitate to include them in your comments as I have been known to overlook details.

Hi
I Know that the 06 Mustang GT Manual Trans had a 3.55 gear in the rear end. I have been shopping for an 07 and found that they offer it as a 100$ option called “3.55 limited slip”. So what do 07s without this option get? Did 06s have limited slip with their 3.55?

Yes the 3.31 is now standard for 07, and the 3.55 is an option for the 5-spd only.
