2007 Mustang Gets Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror

For some of you this might not be news because you are already enjoying this option on your 2007 Mustang but Gentex Corporation, who is the leading supplier of automatic-dimming rearview mirrors has partnered with Ford Motor to supply them for the 2007 model year. The rearview mirrors include the auto-dimming feature along with a built in compass so if your lost in the middle of the dessert you can find your way to the nearest holiday inn express. What is so cool about the auto-dimming mirror is that it automatically darkens to reduce glare from headlamps of vehicles in rear. This is especially good in Mustangs when you have SUVs or trucks behind you that sit up a little higher and their headlights shine right into your car thus almost blinding you. It can be very annoying at times and instead of flipping the mirror old school style it will automatically do it for you so you can keep your eyes on the road. The rearview mirror is available as part of the Comfort Package on Deluxe and Premium versions.
