Hey there, just wanted to let you know about Smooth Line tops. I recently purchaced a top for my 1960 Austin Healey. It arrived in good shape. The fit is pretty close, but I have ran into a problem with the finish. The primer has bubbled after sitting outside, under my car cover, here in california. I contacted Smooth Line , with my complaint. Gary, the sales manager said he had seen this happen once before. He then tried to convince me that if I set it in the sun, it will go away. Anyone who knows something about paint, knows once it lifts, it doesn't magically re-adhere. I asked for a reasonable compensation of 2 hrs labor to sand and paint ($ 200 ). Denied. Just thought you should know, warranties and workmanship are questionable .
