Ford’s In Test Drive Unlimited Video Game

Atari’s Test Drive Unlimited will be arriving on Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation2, and PlayStation Portable in October of 2006 just in time for the Christmas rush with a little bit of Ford enginuity. The game will feature the Ford GT, Mustang , Mustang GT and The GT-R. I have played many racing games on alot of platforms and I have to say from the screenshots provided this game looks pretty life like in so many ways. The cars have such intricate detail not only on the outside but also on the interior of the car. Check out the pics below to decide for yourself.

Test Drive Unlimited is an open-road driving game set on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. The game is split into single-player and multiplayer options with the solo mode letting you compete to win high-performance vehicles and larger garages to put them in. The game also include a big online component and has been hailed as the first multiplayer online racing game of it’s kind. Players from around the world can create a challenge for other drivers, place bets on race outcomes and join clans.

The Mustang GT-R is a concept car designed as a tribute to the 40th anniversary of the Mustang. The car features Ford Racing’s 440 hp “Cammer” crate engine that can be tuned to produce more than 500 hp. The Mustang GT-R is a racecar by design that can handle the world’s toughest road and street courses.
