Performance Autosport’s GR40 Mustang
October 3rd, 2006 by CobraMatt

Performance Autosport has teamed up with Modified Mustangs Magazine to bring you a 5 part series of an entire Griggs GR40 suspension installation on thier 1993 SSP Ford Mustang Coupe project car dubbed the Cop Car Caper. With 4 of the 5 articles already released and the final one coming next month in Modified Mustangs Magazine Performance Autosport has quitely become the nation’s leader in sales and installs of all Griggs Racing Products. PA set out to show what they could do with a bone stock 5.0 that had the correct suspension geometry underneath it. With just a stock motor and only 197 rwhp the GR40 Mustang has had the pleasure of chasing down the likes of 300, 400 and even 500 horsepower cars at the track. In the future PA would like to add a 331 ci powerplant to really see what this car do.
