I found this sweet little video about clutches to be quite interesting and informative. Bob Scheid of Fidanza and I believe the owner of Streetfire.net go through the basics of what parts are included in a clutch and how they work. If you don’t know anything about clutches this will really open your eyes up.
And you thought we were only going to to see a coupe version of the Shelby GT-H. Reports are surfacing around the net that Ford, Shelby and Hertz are teaming up again for another round of ‘Rental Racers’ with the Shelby GT-H Convertible due out before the Summer rental season starts. No concrete evidence has been reported yet but it seems logical with the success of the Shelby GT-H coupe. Reports also say 500 copies will be produced and the engine, interior and exterior will be identical to that of the coupe.
The Shelby GT-H convertible concept made it’s debut at the American Racing booth at the SEMA show in 2006. Expect to see an annoucement coming soon.
I would like to give all my avid readers and all my drivebys a heads up about how the site may look over the next few days. Over the weekend I will be upgrading and adding a new look to the site, so if you come by and the site looks messed up don’t worry it’s just me doing some work. I hope to have everything working right by the end of the weekend.
