At this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas ’Prostang’ will debut as a collaborative effort of master auto painter Santini-USA, the master interior craftsmanship of Steve Stanford Design and Roush Performance. Although the above image is just an illistration of what the actual Mustang will look like you can bet the finished product will be nothing short of spectacular. The 2007 Mustang pro-street coupe adornes red on white Alsa exotic paint with blue-and-yellow accent stripes. The stock 4.6-liter V-8 engine gets help from a polished supercharger and intercooler along with a Bassani custom exhaust to make this beast rumble. For the interior it’s kept simple and neat with leather seats that fit between a full roll cage. This Mustang will be one of many we see at this year’s SEMA show.
With all the limited edition Mustang packages coming out this past year some of us might have forgot about the 40th anniversary package for the GT500 Shelby Autos unveiled last year at SEMA. The 40th anniversary package which is mostly cosmetic with the exception of the upgraded suspension, exhaust and wheels is being done at SAI as we speak. Several GT500’s are starting to roll off the line for there waiting owners and SAI has graciously taken some photos of each color GT500 in coupe and convertible form for all to see. Most of my daily readers which I can count on my left hand are probably getting sick and tired of Ebay auction posts already but I promise this should be the last for awhile. It was only a matter of time before one of these limited edition’s popped up for auction on Ebay, a 2008 Grabber Orange Shelby GT with Silver stripes. This limited edition Grabber Orange Shelby GT is one of 300 according to auction details and is exactly like the ordinary Shelby GT’s in everyway except for the paint. Check out the auction here.
Owners of 2007 Shelby GT500’s who bought their cars thinking they would only be made for just two years might be a little ticked off to find out their car will not be as rare as first thought. According to Amy Boylan (President of SAI) in a post on ShelbyAutos forums she has confirmed that Carroll Shelby’s contract with Ford Motor Company for Shelby GT500’s goes well into the new body style which shows up in 2010. This is great news for us little people who have been waiting on the sidelines to purchase our GT500’s at MSRP. Let’s hope this news will slowly put an end dealer markups (ADM’s) as I am itching to get behind the wheel of one of those babies.

I got another hot Ebay auction for everybody, this time it could be a first as a 2007 Shelby GT-H Convertible has popped up for auction already. The Shelby GT-H convertible is #455 out of 500 made with only 149 original miles. If you think about it for a minute this could be one of the lowest mileage Shelby GT-H convertibles on the planet except for the first one sold at Barrett-Jackson that is tucked away in somebody’s collection.
Blacks Automotive, a specialty Mustang dealer out of Florida is auctioning off their personal car, a 2002 Beryllium Saleen Extreme coupe that is 1 of 3. Saleen built 3 Beryllium vehicles from 2002 to 2004, two Extreme coupes and one convertible which was Steve Saleens personal car. One of the Extreme coupes was totaled out and does not exist so the car above is actually 1 of 2 making it the only coupe in existence. This Beryllium beast has 22K miles on the clock and makes somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 horsepower and 501 ft-lbs of torque. The car comes with tons of aftermarket parts and the paperwork to prove it.
As of writing this the auction has 5 bids up to $30K with 4 1/2 days left.
After all the rumors and leaked information about the 2008 Bullitt Mustang specs Ford has released a revised 2008 Order Guide that includes exactly what the Bullitt package (54B) will include. Accoriding to the order guide Ford expects the Bullitt package to be 5% of total production meaning they should produce somewhere in the range of 6K-8K units. The Bullitt will be offered in two colors, Dark Highland Green and Black along with a Ford Racing Power Pack. After the jump I have included all the details and a link to the new 2008 Order Guide.
