1990 Fox-Body Mustang Destiny, What Is This?
August 20th, 2007 by CobraMatt

Look very carefully at this photo and you will notice the car is made from a Fox-Body Mustang convertible. The car is being sold on AutoTrader.com under the title of 1990 Ford Mustang Destiny, the ad claims there are a few hundred of these built. The asking price is somewhat rediculous at $37,900. Here is the link to the autotrader ad.

Fake. This is a kit car replica of a Zimmer or Luxxor. I did some searching and you can buy a replica kit for Mustang Fox body cars. Price, well who did the conversion and what they might have charged determines that. My opinion the guy either overpaid someone to build this or he did it himself. Worth $36,000 don’t think so, buy a Cobra or really nice GT.

You are confused. The picture is of a Destiny convertible built by Classic Motor Cars in Miami, Florida. They also built the Tiffany. The Destiny is on a new Ford Mustang chassis with the sme V-8, etc. These cars were built in a factory in Miami - not in someone’s garage.
