how exactly is this paying tribute to our troops? this is capitalizing off our troops. the only thing it will benefit them is if they buy it and receive the $500 off by paying for it in cash. as a mustang owner, i feel that this is disgraceful.

why not setup a veteran’s assistance fund and have some of the proceeds go to that?

I hafta agree. They ought to auction them for disabled vets of ALL wars or periods of service. This is kinda weird.

I hear what you are saying Johnny, lets hope they donate some percentage of the sale to charity.

Why do you look at everything as being a negative? Capitalizing off our troops come on? Then what about all the NYPD shirts or NY fire department shirts- then that would be “capitalizing” off them as well? Saleen and Ford have decided to do something as a symbol of appreciation. Stop being so dang negative. Im sure that a portion will go to charity- just like the “Warrior’s In Pink” Mustang.

As a Marine, I agree with Marc. Why not just look at this as a symbol of appreciation, instead of always seeking out the bad in things? And so what if they make a buck or two off it? If seeing or driving this car around reminds us to remember out Vets and think about service members, I say its worth it. Is selling American flags and bibles wrong too?

When I look at this car I am proud to have served my
country for 25 years of active duty. The posative thinking that went into this car is part of the American Spirt. Glad that this has come..

Buddy of mine just started getting his disability checks after his trip to the sand.

He’s driving one of these now… and earned every bit of this car.
