Like most celebrities and famous people who love cars they have the cash to buy pretty much whatever kind of ride they want and for Brian Williams, who anchors the NBC Nightly News he is no differnet.  In a recent article on esquire.com Brian talks about how after the September 11th tragedy where so many people lost their lives and never got the chance to experience the things they loved he also had an empty feeling in him about not living life to the fullest.

So to get the feeling of living life Brian walked into a Porsche dealership and leased a $200K plus GT2 for as he calls it two expensive years.  Living in New York and having to drive a Porsche GT2 with a manual transmission along with scraping the car on every little bump according to Brian it made no sense, so as his lease was coming to a close the newly redesigned 2005 Mustang was just hitting the market and for the small price of $29,700 Brian could outright own the car and enjoy the beefy V8.  While Brian loves his Mustang GT which can be spotted with a number ‘3′ on the rear spoiler for his late friend Dale Earnhardt he says he is always looking for his next ride but for now he is happy driving his Stang.
