This 1989 SSC Mustang is pretty rare in that only 161 of these type of Saleen Mustangs were produced for that year with a total production of 895 Mustangs made into Saleens. 1989 marked the first year Saleen added the option of purchasing the car with a supercharger. The SSC was one of the most anticipated cars of the year with it adorning many magazine covers. All 1989 Saleen SSC Mustangs were made in White with White 5-star wheels and gray trim.
