Ford Adding Shelby GT500 Red Appearance Package

The photo above is just a quick photochop I did of what the new Red Stripe appearance package for the Shelby GT500 could look like.  Ford will be adding this Red Stripe appearance option for remaining Shelby GT500’s that have not been ordered yet in Performance White or Ebony Black.  According to Blue Oval News JOB1/start of production for this package will begin May 7th and end during the last five weeks of the 2007 model production.  Below is a list of what you get with this appearance package.  Cost will be $1,650.

• Red Top and Side Stripes
• Fender and Grill Cobra Badges With Red highlights
• Shelby Decklid Lettering With Red highlights
• Faux Gas Cap with Red highlights
• Black Leather Seats with Red Inserts
• Special Floor mats with Red and Silver embroidered Cobra logos
• Shelby GT500 Car Cover
