2010 Mustang Leather Seats and Center Console Revealed

This week Ford is teasing us with a photo of the new 2010 Mustang Leather seats and the center console. The seats look similar to the 2005’s with the exception of a few extra seams in the lumbar supports and new pleats in the back and bottom part of the seat. The 2010 Mustang Leather seats also come with light colored stitching to enhance the seams. As for the center console it looks like hidden cupholders and no armrest unless it pops up. Personally I think an armrest is a necessity if you have a manual transmission as it’s the place you rest your elbow when shifting gears. I hope there will be some sort of armrest or that could be very uncomfortable to drivers with manual trannys. Check out the high res image below.

    The one thing that makes me happy is to see the interior improving. We had the same interior from 1994-2004 for the most part with very very very little difference between that 1994 dashboard and the 2004.
