It’s not often you see a pre-production Mustang of any year up for auction or sale let alone this 2008 Bullitt Mustang. This 2008 Bullitt is a pre-production model with a wacky serial #1PP16 which according to the auction was a Ford Motor Company corporate use vehicle possibly used for dyno testing because of the condition of the car. The condition is a bit of a mystery in itself because the Bullitt has 52K miles and with those kind of miles you would think there should be a considerable amount of wear on the car, well guess again. According to Maibach Ford who is selling it the brakes and tires have little to no wear at all on them along with the interior looking like nobody has ever sat in it. This leads them to believe the car was solely used for dyno testing which makes complete sense.
This pre-production Bullitt is definately a piece of history that somebody will enjoy either sitting in a collection or being driven on the road. The Buy It Now price is set at a reasonable $25K considering the vehicle and miles. Check out the auction here.
If you are looking to build a Mustang collection and are short on time then check out this Ebay auction where a guy in Puerto Rico has a massive collection of 103 Mustangs along with a huge collection of parts for the sale price of $950K. The collection includes a long list of various 60’s & 70’s era Mustangs with a few newer model GT Mustangs thrown in to round out the collection. Also with the cars you get a huge collection of new and used Mustang parts that include some 37 engines, 400 wheel covers, 21 carburators with the list going on and on.
Some of the highlighted Mustangs include 1968 Shelby GT350 convertible, 1969 Cobra Jet 428 R Code, 1968 Shelby GT500KR, 1969 Shelby GT500 coupe, 1968 Shelby, 1969 Fastback 390 S Code, a few 1970’s Mach 1’s. This is definately a very impressive collection of Mustangs and parts that will sure draw some interest from the states. Getting all the parts and cars back to the US might be a challenger but the owner has said if someone uses the buy it now feature shipping will be free.

I guess this is one way of upgrading from a 91 5.0L convertible to a SL Mercedes Benz droptop. One Mustang owner decided to make his own Benz the hard way by custom making all the exterior body panels in fiberglass. Even the convertible top has the Benz look. Some people just amaze me with the things they do. Check out the auction here.
This auction for a 1993 LX coupe with a 2003 Cobra Motor, Interior and Suspension has to be one of my better Ebay finds as of late. This is one of those cars you are always sitting around with your buddies saying if I had money I would do this but how. Well fortunately somebody has already gone through the trials and tribulations of how to get this combination working and working they have to the tune of 445 horsepower and 432 ft-lbs of torque. Is this the ultimate street sleeper or what?
The car includes an 18K mile 2003 Cobra motor stuffed under the hood with a 2.8 blower pulley added for additional horses, complete Cobra interior minus the steering wheel and airbag, flowmaster and bassani exhaust, Maximum Motor Sports K-member and coil over kit with a complete Cobra IRS suspension out back.
The price at around $25K seems reasonable given all the parts and time that has been put into making this car a reality. Do you think we could get say a Unique Performance to manufacture these babies and dubb them ‘Fox-Rods’.
For many people like myself who grew up with fox-body Mustangs this is definately a dream car that all of us wish we could have in our garage one day. Lets just hope there are more of these floating around when I have the extra cash to blow.

Most of my daily readers which I can count on my left hand are probably getting sick and tired of Ebay auction posts already but I promise this should be the last for awhile. It was only a matter of time before one of these limited edition’s popped up for auction on Ebay, a 2008 Grabber Orange Shelby GT with Silver stripes. This limited edition Grabber Orange Shelby GT is one of 300 according to auction details and is exactly like the ordinary Shelby GT’s in everyway except for the paint. Check out the auction here.
I got another hot Ebay auction for everybody, this time it could be a first as a 2007 Shelby GT-H Convertible has popped up for auction already. The Shelby GT-H convertible is #455 out of 500 made with only 149 original miles. If you think about it for a minute this could be one of the lowest mileage Shelby GT-H convertibles on the planet except for the first one sold at Barrett-Jackson that is tucked away in somebody’s collection.

Blacks Automotive, a specialty Mustang dealer out of Florida is auctioning off their personal car, a 2002 Beryllium Saleen Extreme coupe that is 1 of 3. Saleen built 3 Beryllium vehicles from 2002 to 2004, two Extreme coupes and one convertible which was Steve Saleens personal car. One of the Extreme coupes was totaled out and does not exist so the car above is actually 1 of 2 making it the only coupe in existence. This Beryllium beast has 22K miles on the clock and makes somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 horsepower and 501 ft-lbs of torque. The car comes with tons of aftermarket parts and the paperwork to prove it.
As of writing this the auction has 5 bids up to $30K with 4 1/2 days left.

You might remember this car from some Mustang Mags and also the 2003 SEMA show. Xtreme Mustang Performance built this car in a little less then 6 weeks stripping it down to nothing more then a rolling chassis. The car is a 2003 Mach I with a Paxton Novi-2000 supercharger, enough gauges to rival a F-16 fighter jet and more TV’s then a Best Buy showroom. Other customizations include a Saleen body kit, HRE wheels, custom targa top, Lambo doors and full Maximum Motorsports suspension. These mods are just the tip of the iceberg as this car recieved so many parts from so many suppliers that it’s rediculous. As of writing this the auction has a Buy It Now of $29,995 and one bid at $15K. Check out the auction for all the details. Our Ebay adventure today brings us to this a one-of-a-kind find, a SN-95 Mustang GT-R clone done up in a similar paint scheme just like the original GT-R concept Ford rolled out in 2005. Allthough the cars paint is not exactly the Valencia Orange Ford whipped up for the GT-R concept, the owner matched up the colors pretty well. What you see on the outside is basically what you get, the car is pretty much stock except for the all aluminum wing out back which adds about 50 hp.
