Jack Roush, Jr., will be driving the No. 59 ROUSH Performance Mustang at Miller Motorsports Park just as he has all season long in the Grand-Am KONI Challenge. What will be different is his co-driver for the September 14 event.
Stepping aside for this race will be Dean Martin who is still feeling the effects of injuries sustained in an accident during the running of Le Grand Prix de Trois-Riveires. Not confident he can drive at 100-percent yet, Martin will assume the role of race strategist and work atop the pit box for this event. He does plan on returning to the cockpit for the season-finale at Virginia International Raceway next month. Continue reading ‘Roush Jr. To Get New Co-Driver at Miller Motorsports Park’

Here is the story about the Terlingua Racing Team making a comeback, I am to tired to write anything about it so just enjoy the press release below and give me your thoughts if you have any in the comments.
Shelby Automobiles, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc., (CSBI.PK) and designer/artist Bill Neale are returning the legendary Terlingua Racing Team to the forefront of the grassroots racing community. The team will explore opportunities to develop products similar to the Shelby program in the mid 1960s.
“We were a bunch of young hot rodders when we formed the Shelby Terlingua Racing Team,” noted Carroll Shelby, Founder of Shelby Automobiles. “Most people think our group disappeared because we took our activities underground when my company stopped building GT350’s and GT500’s. Now that Shelby Autos is working with Ford again to build high performance cars, its time to put the Shelby Terlingua Racing Team back into the spotlight. We asked Bill Neale, who was a co-founder of the group, to help us create cars and products for serious young enthusiasts who want both fun and performance.” Continue reading ‘Shelby Terlingua Racing Team Making A Comeback’

In addition, Robin set a new track record in his qualifying session for the Sunday race by guiding his Steeda Mustang at such a blistering pace that the only competition he had was himself and his teammate’s Steeda Mustangs!
